He played pivotal role, through series of multi-billion dollar innovative acquisitions, capital market interventions, mergers, post-merger integration, in evolution of UltraTech Cement, Idea Cellular (now Vodafone Idea), Nuvo (merged with Grasim) and Hindalco, for each group company to become market leader. Until c1994, as investment banker at the JV of JPMorgan & ICICI, he managed PSU practice besides catering to marquee corporate clients on capital markets & corporate finance. He is on Advisory Board of incubator at BIMTECH Noida, was earlier on Advisory Board of Somaiya incubator. Earlier on National Committees of CII & FICCI for Capital Markets & PE and was elected board member at IVCA (leading alternative asset association). He is Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA), Associate Cost Accountant (AICWA), ICSI Graduate and Bachelor of Commerce from University of Mumbai.
