Happi Planet will use the funding proceeds to expand the category via consumer education & to further accelerate their offline presence.
makes home care products that provide Effective Cleaning, Powered by Nature. The products are made from 100% plant-based actives, making them non-toxic & hence safe for their consumers. The brand believes in full ingredient transparency & discloses all ingredients on the packaging label itself, without any regulatory mandate, because consumers deserve to know what they are using. What’s more, Happi Planet is also Asia’s first brand to be selling home care products in a planet friendly paper packaging, reducing plastic footprint by up to 90%.
Consumers think about product safety in a particular hierarchy. Starting with what they are putting IN THE BODY (Food), followed by what they are putting ON THE BODY (Beauty & Personal Care Products) & now these consumers are thinking about what they are putting AROUND THE BODY (Home Care Products).
Happi Planet is founded by Nimeet Dhokai & Mayank Gupta, both of whom are Procter & Gamble alumnus, with 13 years of experience between them, in the non-food FMCG space. Happi Planet was launched in July 2022 & has since cemented its position as one of the largest players in the plant-based home cleaning market. Happi Planet products can be brought on online platforms like Amazon, Big Basket & D Mart Ready, as well as in offline modern trade stores like Reliance Signature stores.
With this fundraise, Happi Planet will double down its efforts on online platforms & expand its physical reach to 250+ stores by the end of 2024, delivering a 10X topline growth in the next 12 months.
